Slender-tailed Boa
The Short Tailed Boa Constrictor is a unique species of snake that's native to the tropical regions of South America. They are found in countries such as Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. While there were once ten or more (depending on who you talk to or where you're standing), herpetologists no longer recognize those species. These snakes are relatively small in size, growing up to 4 feet in length, and have a distinctive short tail. In South America the range splits along the Andes mountains.
